Alain, born in Switzerland, is a multilingual diving expert fluent in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. He arrived in Mexico in 2005, bringing with him a wealth of diving experience.
 

Since becoming a diving professional in 2003, Alain has logged over 6,000 dives across Mexico, Belize, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Egypt, the Maldives, and Palau. Among these, over 4,500 are technical dives requiring specialized equipment and techniques, with more than 3,500 cave dives in Mexico.
 

In 2005, Alain became an Advanced Nitrox and Cavern Instructor for IANTD, and an Intro to Cave Instructor in 2008. Between 2008 and 2010, he initiated survey and exploration projects in several cave systems, solidifying his passion for cave diving and sidemount configurations.
 

In 2012, Alain joined the GoSideMount team as an Official Razor Cave Instructor. By 2015, he became a TDI Instructor Trainer, leveraging his extensive experience to train the next generation of cave diving professionals.
 

Currently, Alain teaches cave diving and actively participates in various projects within the local cave diving community.
